Samin Nosrat appears alongside Israeli chefs despite BDS pledge

Original: Samin Nosrat, celebrity chef who signed BDS pledge, shares stage with Israeli chefs

Samin Nosrat, the Iranian-American chef and author of 'Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat' who signed the BDS cultural boycott pledge concerning Israel, appeared on the same stage with Israeli chefs, Jewish media outlets report. The joint appearance has drawn attention because of the apparent tension between her boycott commitment and sharing a public platform with Israeli culinary figures.

Why now: It creates apparent contradiction between her support for the BDS cultural boycott of Israel and her appearing publicly with Israeli chefs.
