Defense expert calls Gaudreau brothers' death theory 'beyond bizarre'
Original: ‘This defies the laws of physics’: Defense expert blasts prosecution theory of Gaudreau brothers’ deaths as ‘beyond bizarre’
A defense expert witness has sharply disputed the prosecution's account of how NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were killed, testifying that the theory 'defies the laws of physics' and calling it 'beyond bizarre.' The brothers were struck and killed by a driver while cycling in New Jersey, and the testimony has become a flashpoint in the ongoing criminal case.
Why now: The Gaudreau brothers' deaths remain a high-profile case, and expert testimony undermining the prosecution's theory is striking new developments in the trial.
