Duchess Sophie Called the Next Princess Anne
Original: anne, princess royal
Duchess Sophie, wife of Prince Edward, is being described in commentary as 'the next generation's Princess Anne' and 'the overall perfect royal,' drawing comparisons to the Princess Royal's work ethic and no-nonsense style. The remarks have put Anne, Princess Royal, back into trending searches across the US, UK, Germany and Canada, as royal watchers debate which working royals best embody her dutiful approach.
Why now: A flattering comparison of Duchess Sophie to the famously hard-working Princess Anne has renewed public interest in Anne and the future of the royal family's working members.
