Original: firenze

A large fire broke out overnight at the At a depot in Florence, destroying 12 buses and damaging 7 others belonging to Autolinee Toscane. Firefighters intervened to bring the blaze under control. Local reports say the loss of vehicles is having repercussions on public transport services across the Florence area, with passengers facing disruptions while the operator assesses the damage and arranges replacement capacity.

Why now: The destruction of a dozen buses overnight and the resulting disruption to Florence's bus services is newsworthy locally.
