YouTuber Says Police Visited Him After He Built Cop-Tracking Camera
Original: YouTuber Says Cops Visited Him After He Built a Flock-Style Camera to Track Cops
A YouTuber says police came to his home after he built a Flock-style automated license plate camera system pointed the other way — designed to track the movements of police vehicles. Commenters are debating the double standard around surveillance, harassment concerns, and whether citizens monitoring officers should be protected.
Why now: The irony of surveillance tools built for police being used to monitor police has struck a nerve in debates over privacy and accountability.
