The governors of Shiga and Mie prefectures, dressed in ninja costumes, met at a historic ninja training ground to exchange views and voiced intent to cooperate between their regions. The quirky pairing of formal inter-prefectural diplomacy with ninja outfits and yoga has drawn amused attention online, with the article's framing about a yoga session 'becoming Shiga' adding to the buzz.
Why now: The unusual sight of two prefectural governors holding official talks in ninja costume at a yoga event is inherently eye-catching and shareable.
