Reviewers pan Chris Rock's 'Misty Green'
Original: MOVIE REVIEW: "MISTY GREEN" - IN THEATERS "Misty Green" is Chris Rock’s misfire of a tale of a woman’s struggle in Holly
Chris Rock's new film 'Misty Green', an A24 release now in theaters, is drawing harsh early reviews, with critics calling it a misfire. The film tells the story of a woman's struggle to make it in Hollywood, but reviewers say it fails to deliver on that premise, criticizing its execution rather than its subject matter.
Why now: The film has just opened in theaters and early reviews, including negative ones, are shaping the conversation around it.
