Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed beats Jimmy Fallon in ratings
Original: jimmy fallon
Byron Allen's late-night show Comics Unleashed has outperformed Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show in key ratings measures, according to TheGrio. The syndicated comedy series' win over a major network franchise is drawing attention in the late-night TV world, where audiences and advertising dollars are increasingly up for grabs.
Why now: A syndicated show beating a flagship network late-night program is a surprising upset in the ratings race.
