Ex-CWI chief urges West Indies to boycott ICC over revenue model

Original: 'Let India play against themselves' - West Indies should stop playing to challenge ICC's revenue-sharing model, says former CWI President

A former Cricket West Indies president has called on West Indies to stop playing international cricket as a protest against the ICC's revenue-sharing model, saying the board should 'let India play against themselves'. The remark targets the allocation of ICC earnings, which critics say heavily favours India and short-changes smaller cricketing nations.

Why now: Frustration over the ICC's revenue distribution is resurfacing amid ongoing disputes between the BCCI and smaller boards.
