Original: 30 декабря
Russian State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab said that December 30 will not be a shortened working day, contrary to what some may have expected ahead of the New Year holidays. Her statement has drawn attention as Russians finalize work plans for the last days of December, with many discussing how the pre-holiday schedule will be organized this year.
Why now: Russians are checking the working schedule before the New Year holidays and the deputy's statement directly affects their plans.
