Trump Rants Against Nobel Prize at Syracuse Rally
Original: Trump Rants Against Nobel Prize to Navi Pillay at Syracuse Rally
At a rally in Syracuse, Donald Trump launched into a tirade about the Nobel Peace Prize while singling out Navi Pillay, the chair of the Nobel Peace Prize committee. He has long claimed he deserves the award and criticised past decisions to honour others instead. The outburst is drawing attention for his continued focus on the prize.
Why now: Trump's public grievance about the Nobel Peace Prize, voiced directly at a rally, fuels ongoing debate over whether he deserves it.
