Original: RE: https:// fediscience.org/@rahmstorf/117 410997571214974 Thousands of people took to the streets of Berlin yesterday

Thousands of people marched in Berlin to protest the German government's policies on renewable energy. Demonstrators say current policies risk decimating the solar and wind industry and crippling the country's energy transition. Climate scientist Stefan Rahmstorf amplified the protest, and criticism of the government's energy course is spreading widely among climate and environmental advocates.

Why now: Frustration over German government policy seen as undermining solar and wind energy is driving public mobilisation and debate.
