Dresden street photo carries 'make art, not war' message
Original: Make art, not war. #streetphotography #photography #dresden #art #saynotowar
A street photographer in Dresden shared an image tagged 'make art, not war', pairing scenes of the city with an anti-war statement. The post, flagged under art and photography hashtags including saynotowar, is drawing small but positive attention. Dresden, heavily damaged in the Second World War and later a centre of peace protests, gives the message particular resonance.
Why now: Ongoing conflicts keep anti-war messages circulating, and the slogan paired with imagery from Dresden resonates with the city's wartime history.
