Drones struck the Russian city of Rostov, igniting a massive fire at an oil loading terminal. Footage shared online shows large flames and smoke rising from the facility. The strike adds to a series of Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian oil infrastructure, which officials in Kyiv say aim to cut the fuel revenues financing Russia's war effort. Details on casualties and the extent of the damage remain limited.
Why now: Strikes on Russian oil export infrastructure are escalating and directly affect global energy markets and the war's funding.
