Cargo workers in France have blocked a shipment belonging to Israeli defence company Elbit Systems that was bound for Israel. The action is being tied to boycott campaigns against companies linked to Israel's war in Gaza, and supporters are sharing it as evidence of growing grassroots resistance to arms shipments across Europe.
Why now: The BDS movement and Gaza war opposition are driving attention to direct action against Israeli arms suppliers.
