Ukraine strikes Russia's largest refinery in long-range drone attack
Original: Ukraine hits Russia's largest refinery in HUGE 2,500km strike + Ukraine defeats Putin's offensive
Ukraine says its forces struck Russia's largest oil refinery in a strike reported to reach 2,500 kilometres into Russian territory, while Kyiv also claims to have repelled a Russian offensive on the front line. The reported hits add to a string of Ukrainian long-range attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, which have targeted refineries to cut fuel supplies and export revenue.
Why now: Strikes deep inside Russia on critical energy infrastructure mark a major escalation of Ukraine's long-range campaign.
