Writer fails again to leave Emacs for other note apps
Original: I tried to move my notes out of Emacs. I failed. Again https://baty.net/posts/2026/10/i-tried-to-move-my-notes-out-of-em
Blogger Jack Baty has written about another attempt to move his personal notes out of Emacs and into a different tool, describing how the effort failed once again. The piece resonates with long-time Emacs users who repeatedly try alternative note-taking apps only to return to their familiar setup.
Why now: Many note-takers and Emacs users relate to the recurring struggle of finding a tool that replaces their customized setup.
