A fundraising appeal says a community center in Gaza City needs only 93 more donors within 16 hours to stay open another week, with 207 of 300 raised toward the goal. Organizers also plan to offer computer science classes for students once the center secures operations. Supporters are sharing the appeal on social media, urging small individual donations as part of broader mutual aid efforts for Palestinians in Gaza.
Why now: The fundraising deadline is imminent and supporters are amplifying the appeal to close the small remaining gap.
