German photo challenge highlights geometric forms in nature

Original: 'geometrische formen' # FotoVorschlag nun ja, eigentlich sind ja alle formen geometrisch, aber gut, ich glaube gemeint i

A German-language photo prompt asking for 'geometric shapes' has drawn playful responses from photographers, one of whom notes that technically all shapes are geometric. They shared a close-up of the oak jewel bug (Rhabdomiris striatellus) as their entry, apologising for the quality of the shot of the strikingly patterned insect. The exchange is part of a regular photo-suggestion thread among hobby photographers.

Why now: The daily or weekly photo challenge theme gives hobby photographers a shared prompt to respond to with their own images.
