Peacock butterfly photos take over Insect Saturday
Original: Tagpfauenauge # insektensamstag # butterfly # nature # photography # insects
Nature photographers are sharing images of the peacock butterfly (Tagpfauenauge) as part of the recurring Insect Saturday hashtag. The bright, eye-spotted butterfly is a familiar garden visitor in Europe, and the tag collects close-up shots of insects each weekend. Participation this week centres on butterfly photography and appreciation of local wildlife.
Why now: It is the weekend 'Insect Saturday' hashtag, when hobby photographers regularly post insect photos.
