Chris Brown and Usher tour shows cancelled amid weak ticket sales

Original: chris brown

Reports say three shows on Chris Brown's tour, including dates with Usher, have been cancelled after large numbers of tickets went unsold. Showbiz411 claims sets in New York, Los Angeles and other stadium markets are far from full, with both artists said to be disappointed by the response. The news is drawing attention because both singers are major arena draws, making weak stadium sales a surprising sign of soft demand for big R&B tours this season.

Why now: Surprising reports of cancelled stadium shows and unsold tickets for two major R&B stars are driving discussion.
