Fantasy author discusses autumn settings in Kovenlore series
Original: # WorldOfOntyre 10 Autumn… My favorite season, it helped to set Book-1 then because it was comfortable. Only 3 of the 7
Fantasy author CA Hawthorne shared details about the World of Ontyre, explaining that autumn, a personal favorite season, shaped the tone of the first Kovenlore book. Only three of the seven Kovenlore books are set in autumn, each in different years, and none of the author's thirteen novels are set entirely in winter despite it being a second favorite season.
Why now: The author is engaging with the writing community by sharing worldbuilding and seasonal setting choices for their fantasy series.
