A gardener has been ripening tomatoes indoors and roasted a tray featuring seven different varieties, sharing delight at the colours of the finished dish. The post touches a familiar chord with home-growers at the end of season, when the last green fruit is brought inside to ripen on windowsills and counters before cooking.
Why now: End-of-season tomato ripening and harvest cooking resonate with home gardeners right now
