Green dragon-tailed butterfly amazes with dragonfly-like flight
Original: Deux ailes en partie transparentes, deux longues queues ondulantes et un vol digne d'une libellule. Le papillon à queue
The green dragon-tailed butterfly is drawing attention for its unusual look and flight: partly transparent wings, two long rippling tails, and a hovering style compared to a dragonfly. Observers say the insect is even more striking on video than in photographs, with footage of it in flight being shared and praised by nature enthusiasts.
Why now: Striking new video footage shows the butterfly's remarkable appearance and flight in detail.
