Modders Claim AI-Helped PS5 PC Emulation Is 80% Done
Original: Modders Used AI to Port the PS5 to PC… It's 80% Done
A modding team says an AI-assisted effort to emulate the PlayStation 5 on PC has reached roughly 80% completion. If accurate, the project would let players run PS5 games on desktop hardware without a console. The claim has spread quickly across gaming communities, drawing excitement about the technical achievement alongside skepticism, since PS5 emulation is considered extremely difficult and no compatible release or playable demonstration has been widely verified.
Why now: A bold claim that PS5 emulation is nearly complete would be a major breakthrough for PC gaming, so gamers are debating whether it is real.
