Original: «Schlingel» endet - Europäischer Preis für finnischen Film https://www. diesachsen.de/kultur/schlingel -endet-europaeisc

The Schlingel International Film Festival in Chemnitz, Saxony, has come to an end, with a Finnish film taking home the festival's European prize. The festival focuses on films for children and young audiences, and the award marks the highlight of its closing events. The Finnish winner drew attention as the standout production of this year's edition in Saxony.

Why now: The closing of the children's film festival and its main award announcement are newsworthy for the region and the European children's film scene.
