Thousands of demonstrators have taken part in a pro-Palestine march through Edinburgh, in the latest of a series of protests across Scotland. The march, reported by the Standard, follows related demonstrations and political debate in Glasgow and at the Scottish Parliament in Holyrood. The protests reflect continued public pressure over the situation in Gaza and the Middle East, with organisers and participants calling for action from UK and Scottish political leaders.
Why now: Ongoing conflict in Gaza continues to draw large pro-Palestine protests across UK cities.
