Trump says Ukraine needs new president, blames Zelenskyy for diesel prices

Original: # Trump says # Ukraine should get a new president as he blames # Zelenskyy for # US # diesel # prices . Such an asshole.

Donald Trump has publicly suggested Ukraine should hold a new presidential election, blaming Volodymyr Zelenskyy for high diesel prices in the United States. Critics, including prominent commentators, rejected the claim, arguing that rising fuel costs stem instead from Trump's own policies, including tariffs and his confrontational stance toward Iran, with some calling for a change in US leadership rather than Ukrainian.

Why now: Trump's comments about Ukraine's leadership and fuel prices sparked strong political backlash and debate over who is responsible for US energy costs.
