Joel Huiqui fined as Cruz Azul drama grows
Original: joel huiqui
Cruz Azul coach Joel Huiqui is making headlines in Mexico after being fined for arriving late to the club, while also drawing attention for declaring 'our home is Mexico' ahead of key matches. His team rescued a draw against Pumas in a replay of last season's final, and columnists are questioning his management as Cruz Azul fight for the 15 points at stake.
Why now: The fine for lateness and Cruz Azul's draw against Pumas have put the coach under scrutiny in Mexican football.
