UK households urged to dispose of eggs over salmonella
Original: UK households told to 'dispose' of eggs from European country as salmonella identified https:// fed.brid.gy/r/https://ww
UK households are being warned to dispose of eggs imported from a European country after salmonella was identified in the product. The alert tells consumers to throw the eggs away rather than eat them. Food safety warnings like this prompt widespread concern among shoppers about which batches are affected and whether their eggs are safe.
Why now: A food safety alert urging people to discard eggs naturally spreads widely as households check whether their own eggs are affected.
