Rebecca Ferguson's Rom-Com 'Honeymoon / Funeral' Sells to Black Bear

Original: rebecca ferguson

Black Bear has acquired North American rights to 'Honeymoon / Funeral', the MRC rom-com starring Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee, after it was shopped at the TIFF market. The deal keeps momentum behind the actress, whose sci-fi thriller 'Life' has also become a streaming hit after 600 days of performing strongly on platforms.

Why now: Two separate Rebecca Ferguson stories are landing at once: a major distribution deal for her new rom-com and sustained streaming success for an older film.
