Comedian Jason Selvig criticizes MAGA supporters' economic blame game
Original: Jason Selvig says MAGA supporters use 'any excuse possible' to avoid blaming Trump for economy
Comedian and satirist Jason Selvig accused MAGA supporters of using 'any excuse possible' to avoid holding President Trump responsible for the state of the economy. His remarks, aired on MS NOW, argue that Trump's base deflects criticism onto other targets despite economic conditions being a central political issue.
Why now: Ongoing debate over who is responsible for current economic conditions makes criticism of Trump's supporters' defenses newsworthy.
