Musician JP Shilo says playing through a vintage Fender Jaguar is "crucial" to emulating the signature guitar tone of Rowland S. Howard, the late Australian guitarist known for his work with The Birthday Party and These Immortal Souls. Shilo, who has performed with Howard's former collaborators, shared the remark alongside links to his own recent tracks.

Why now: Interest in Rowland S. Howard's distinctive sound endures among fans and guitarists, and Shilo's hands-on insight into recreating it resonates with that community.
