Ollie Robinson calls unfit label unfair as others escaped criticism
Original: Ollie Robinson: Others got injured and weren’t called unfit — that was unfair
Cricketer Ollie Robinson has repeated his complaint that he was unfairly singled out when he was labelled unfit during his England career, arguing that other players suffered injuries without facing similar criticism. Robinson says the treatment he received was inconsistent with how teammates in comparable situations were handled, renewing debate about fitness standards in the England setup.
Why now: Robinson's criticism of how he was treated over fitness concerns is drawing fresh attention to England's selection and fitness policies.
