OpenWants Launches Simulated City Run by AI Agents
Original: Show HN: OpenWants – A Simulated City Where AI Agents Handle Residents Needs
OpenWants has launched a simulated city called Maple Hill where AI agents respond to residents' needs. The project, shared on Hacker News, lets visitors watch autonomous agents manage requests and services within the virtual town. Commenters are debating how useful the demo is as a showcase of agent behaviour and whether such simulations could eventually model real urban services or resident support systems.
Why now: AI agent demos are a hot topic among developers, and a working simulated city is a novel showcase.
