How photons become the reality your brain renders
Original: Your brain is a massive rendering engine. Here is how photons become your reality. # science # neuroscience # klytron #
A science post describes the brain as a massive rendering engine, explaining how photons hitting the retina are converted into the visual reality we experience. It frames perception as a constructed simulation rather than a direct view of the world, touching on optics, neuroscience and the physics of light.
Why now: The brain-as-simulator framing of perception is a popular and perennially fascinating science topic.
