Investigators still pursuing Tom Wales murder case 25 years on
Original: 25 years later, investigators aren't giving up in Tom Wales murder
Seattle prosecutors Tom Wales was shot dead in his Queen Anne home in October 2001, and a quarter-century later investigators say they are still actively working the case. Wales, an Assistant United States Attorney, was the first federal prosecutor killed in the line of duty in the United States. Detectives continue to appeal for tips as they pursue those responsible.
Why now: The 25th anniversary of the unsolved killing has prompted investigators to renew public appeals for information.
