Oklahoma's upset of the No. 1 team reignites SEC superiority debate
Original: This is why the SEC is the best conference in college football. You can watch Indiana and others play unranked cupcakes
Oklahoma, unranked at 2-2, has beaten the nation's No. 1 team, prompting fans to argue the SEC is college football's best conference because its teams face each other all season. Supporters contrast this with other leagues, including Indiana's, scheduling weaker non-conference opponents. The result fuels the perennial debate over which conference deserves playoff consideration.
Why now: An unranked SEC team upsetting the No. 1 team has reignited the annual argument over conference strength in college football.

Evidence
- This is why the SEC is the best conference in college football. You can watch Indiana and others play unranked cupcakes all year, or you can watch actually good football teams tear each other apart. Oklahoma is 2-2, not even ranked, and they just took down #1. # CFB # Football… · FlashMobOfOne@mstdn.social · 1
