Google's new fitness tracker rumoured to be called Fitbit Edge
Original: fitbit edge
Reports from Japan suggest Google may launch a new fitness tracker under the name Fitbit Edge. A retailer has reportedly opened early reservations at around 6,800 yen, and coverage notes the device reportedly features a display, which some commentators describe as out of step with current screen-free tracker trends. No official announcement from Google has been confirmed.
Why now: Early retailer reservations and naming rumours have surfaced for an unannounced Google fitness tracker.
