Mamdani Demands ICE Leave New York
Original: Mamdani: “Get ICE Out of New York!” https:// fed.brid.gy/r/https://www.pres senza.com/2026/10/mamdani-get-ice-out-of-new
New York politician Zohran Mamdani has called for ICE to be removed from New York, demanding the federal immigration enforcement agency get out of the city. The statement, published via Pressenza, is drawing attention amid ongoing debate over federal immigration raids and sanctuary city policies. Supporters back his stance against deportations, while critics are likely to challenge the call as a confrontation with federal authority.
Why now: Immigration enforcement remains a flashpoint in US politics, and Mamdani's provocative call resonates with current debates over ICE activity in sanctuary cities.
