Trump floats renaming Atlantic or Pacific Ocean
Original: Trump floats idea of renaming Atlantic or Pacific Ocean
Donald Trump has raised the idea of renaming either the Atlantic or the Pacific Ocean, according to AzerNews. The report offered no details on how or where the proposal was made, and no renaming process for international oceans exists without broad international agreement. The suggestion has drawn attention given Trump's earlier moves to change American place names, including renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America for US usage.
Why now: People are reacting to another unconventional Trump renaming proposal after his Gulf of Mexico name change.
