Taiwan's military struggles with a serious manpower shortage
Original: How Taiwan’s military manpower shortage is undermining its ability to fight
Taiwan's armed forces are facing a growing recruitment and retention crisis that analysts say is weakening the island's ability to defend itself against a potential Chinese attack. Why now: Rising tensions with China have put Taiwan's military readiness under intense scrutiny.
