Mission Aviation Fellowship makes Sudan fresh ministry priority
Original: Mission Aviation Fellowship makes Sudan a fresh ministry priority amid humanitarian crisis
Mission Aviation Fellowship has named Sudan a fresh ministry priority as the country faces a severe humanitarian crisis. The Christian aviation organisation, which uses light aircraft to reach isolated communities, is turning its attention to Sudan where conflict and displacement have made overland aid delivery extremely difficult. The move highlights the growing role faith-based air services are playing in getting relief to cut-off populations.
Why now: Sudan's escalating humanitarian crisis is drawing new commitments from aid and mission organisations.
