A new music mashup pairs OMI's 2015 hit 'Cheerleader' with Katrina and the Waves' 1985 classic 'Walking on Sunshine', blending the two upbeat tracks into a single edit. The mix is being shared with music and mashup tags as listeners pass around the unexpected pairing of a modern pop song and an eighties feel-good anthem.
Why now: People enjoy surprising mashups that combine well-known songs from different eras.
