Autumn mushrooms dot Nepal hiking trails
Original: More mushrooms on the hiking path. They were lots of them but quit spread out. # mushrooms # fungus # autumn # hiking #
A hiker in Banepa, Nepal, reported seeing large numbers of mushrooms scattered widely along a hiking trail during an autumn morning walk. The observations come as cool, wet conditions in Nepal's hill regions bring a seasonal flush of fungi, a common sight for trekkers and nature walkers this time of year.
Why now: Autumn foraging and mushroom-spotting posts are trending as the season peaks
