Google Wallet on Android is rolling out support for Oklahoma state IDs, making it the 12th US state whose digital identification can be stored in the app. The feature lets residents carry a digital version of their driver's license or state ID on their phone. The rollout follows the previous state launch at the end of August, as Google continues expanding digital ID coverage across the country.
Why now: Google is continuing its steady expansion of digital state ID support, and Oklahoma's addition marks the 12th state.
