Jason Kidd in advanced talks to join ESPN's NBA Countdown
Original: Jason Kidd reportedly is in advanced talks to join ESPN’s NBA Countdown
Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd is reportedly in advanced talks to join ESPN's NBA Countdown studio show. If confirmed, the move would add a current, high-profile NBA coach to the network's flagship pregame coverage, and it is drawing attention to what role he would take and how it fits with his coaching duties.
Why now: A sitting NBA head coach potentially joining a major network studio show is an unusual, high-profile media move.
