Original: yandex
Russia's Yandex says one of its data centres in the Vladimir region has been shut down following a drone attack. The company confirmed the facility went offline after the strike, though the full extent of damage and any impact on its services was not immediately clear. The incident highlights how Ukrainian drone strikes are increasingly reaching infrastructure deep inside Russia.
Why now: A drone strike knocking out infrastructure belonging to Russia's biggest tech company is notable news as attacks reach deeper into Russia.
