Spain prepares to turn clocks back for winter time
Original: horario de verano
Spaniards are looking up when the clocks change as the country prepares to leave daylight saving time. Clocks will be moved back one hour to switch to winter time, giving an extra hour of sleep but earlier sunsets. Media outlets are reminding readers of the exact date and time of the change, a twice-yearly ritual that keeps drawing attention and debate about whether it should be abolished.
Why now: The clock change to winter time is imminent, so people are searching for the exact date.
