President Trump said Sunday that Ukraine and Russia have agreed to a limited ceasefire covering energy infrastructure. The announcement came shortly after he called for Ukrainian President Zelenskyy's replacement, and just as Zelenskyy vowed to keep striking Russian oil facilities. It remains unclear whether Moscow has formally committed, and the limited scope of the deal has drawn skepticism about its durability and enforcement.
Why now: The announcement suggests a partial step toward ending the war while Trump openly pressures Zelenskyy, raising questions about the ceasefire's terms and viability.
